How much more evidence do we need that the NCAA had it out for USC? Five Ohio State players are suspended five games in 2011 for accepting illegal gifts but they can still play in the Sugar Bowl? Are you kidding me? What a joke this organization has become. Since when did ignorance become an excuse? Just like Cam Newton, Ohio State and the players pled "I didn't know I was doing anything wrong." All of a sudden the NCAA has become a big pushover, not to mention hypocritcal.
You do love your USC Scottso. The NCAA waited and waited to nail the Trojans and finally did so when their play tailed off a bit. The school is confident enough in their appeal that they are recruiting full force. As for the Buckeyes, the penalty was fair except for the bowl allowance. If the NCAA announced this in March we would all be fine with it.
